The content has been so well curated lately, man. Extra awesome stuff to be reading while travelling on Japanese trains in the land of the rising alien insect.

That was a great read, along with the other parts you linked to, thanks. I have written about Ayahuasca and often focused on the benefits in life, after returning to this reality. The entities do fascinate me, I enjoy discussing this with friends during and after Ayahuasca trips.

Telling others about entities, is often the point where you lose them, and they think you are completely insane. It is commendable that you have found a way to scientifically undertake this research, in the hope of mapping the space, interacting with the entities and maybe learning from them.

I very much look forward to your post detailing the discussion moderation with the volunteers and what they experienced, saw, and felt, with regards to the beings encountered in the other realms.

For anyone interested in what an Ayahuasca trip feels like, along with the benefits, I wrote about it here:

This is so exciting. The dreamer in me wonders if it's synchronism we are achieving this just as we face extinction. It would make sense the pinnacle of intelligent life in the game either makes it or doesn't. The boards got to be wiped clean for the next version :)

I wonder could we use devices such as Neuralink to be used as an interface to get the data out of DMT space, interface alternative to just relying on memory. Maybe psychenaut could ask the "all powerful" aliens to spit some bits out through the attached interface ;) On more down to earth approach, does Neuralink with its 1024 channels, is it even connected to part of brain that is even active, and could transmit. Maybe it is just equivalent of someone on DMT trying to type on the keyboard... Any thoughts ? Does recent scans from Imperial College's new DMT fMRI/EEG study gives us anything in regards to interfaces like that or rather the activity in the region that Neuralink taps into ?

There is an interesting difference I find in the visual experience between absolute peak and coming down. Often you need to move your eyes to see the entire detail of the visual field, just like a panorama, but peak experience occupies your consciousness at a much more fundamental level and it is starkly unromantic and technological. also immediately forgotten! It would be interesting to see how peak experience would be established, likely only by making someone unconscious and then slightly dialling back the dose. This has the potential to become an entirely new approach to consciousness research but will require new methodology using expert phenomenologists, not innocent victims;)

Hello, Andrew!

I would like to get in touch with you.

Small or regular amounts of DMT no longer have any effect on my mind (or a very mild, barely noticeable effect), and even significant amounts result in a quite mild and short-lasting experience. I am enlightened in the traditional sense, my mind is always in a meditative state, and my experience with other psychedelics is similar. I tried ingesting 1,500ug of LSD (15 tabs), and I didn't trip, only experienced a very modest emotional release, and no significant distortions in my visual field. I've used psychedelics extensively on the spiritual path, combined with thousands of hours of meditation. My mental well-being is so complete, I never feel depressed, angry, jealous etc. My life experience is an uninterrupted peace.

I would be interested to speak to you for two reasons:

1) I'd be happy to share my expertise and understanding of psychedelics and how they relate to the spiritual path, improved well-being, past traumatic events, mental illnesses etc. I have extensive direct experience with all of it.

2) I am curious about DMTx and how it would affect my state of consciousness.

My email is artem@true-freedom.org, I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Artem.

Speaking from experience , I would agree for the claim of psychological tolerance. I frequently explain it to people like learning how to swim- it's not rational to jump into a body of water your very first time and expect to swim laps- the more we learn to treat these psychedelics as tools and not mere chemicals/drugs, the more we can take ownership of their effects and learn to use them with more intent and finesse.

And now, having dmtx available, weve got the ability to do way more practicing. Which is immensely exciting. I would love to see some similar studies done on 5meodmt-x.

I wonder if any of the subjective experiences were time-related? e.g. subjective experiences of travel via personal timeline like described by J.W. Dunne's book An Experiment with Time?
